Allianz Malaysia invites senior Risk Engineer professionals to take ownership of planning and guiding daily operations across Commercial and Machinery Breakdown risk classes. The role includes reviewing surveys and providing technical consultation to risk engineers.

You will support the Head of Department on strategic plans, participate in regional meetings, and drive process improvements leveraging AI and data analytics.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in risk engineering/consulting, 10-15 years preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate with regional stakeholders.
• Strong communication in English; other languages beneficial.

Looking for a career that allows you to take ownership of your work?This role is to plan, strategize and guide daily operations, besides carrying out desktop re-views on internal and external risk survey re-ports. Additionally, the role is to also provide technical consultation and lead for system usability by Risk Engineers, and to assist the Head of Department on strategic plans, internal or regional meetings, technical collaboration and work process improvement, either leveraging on AI or data driven.You'll Be Responsible For

• Efficaciously run the daily operations for Commercial and Machinery Breakdown classes of portfolio.
• Collaborate for functional continuity.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI), system and data driven LCE services for work process improvement.
• Assist the HoD with mid and long-term strategic plans, meetings and regional collaboration.
• Review risk survey reports prepared by Risk Engineers as per the department guidelines.
• Consultation to risk analysis/reviews and loss control, involving 3rd party reports, post-loss, PML/MFL, flood, and other technical risk assessment.
• Lead the LC360 local technical user (Risk Engineer) needs.
• Attend the technical Allianz Regional/Commercial Risk Engineering/Allianz Risk Consulting meetings on occasional basis to represent the HoD or as and when required.

Important To Your Success

• A Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Additional professional certification in related qualifications such as Risk Management and Process Safety will be an advantage
• At least 10-15 years of working experience in the risk engineering/consulting circle, either in the regional insurance or the local property insurance market
• Having had the experience of managing direct reports or a team of Risk Engineers/Consultants.
• Good communication and written skills in English. Other languages (e.g. Mandarin) will also be considered
• Knowledge in using Artificial Intelligence (AI), and IT/computer savvy is highly sought
• Willing to occasionally travel for business purposes
