Job summary

Behn Meyer Agricare (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead projects across Malaysia, from planning through completion. The role collaborates with contractors, consultants and internal teams to deliver buildings and infrastructure improvements.

You will manage budget, schedules, and safety compliance while ensuring quality across diverse civil engineering works and site activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil/structure projects.
• Experience in contractor management, tendering, and contract administration.
• Strong knowledge of building construction, drainage, roads, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Understanding of SHE requirements and statutory regulations.
• Good project management, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage civil engineering and construction projects from planning to handover.
• Manage building construction, renovation, upgrading and improvement works.
• Prepare project scopes, specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Review drawings, specifications and contractor submissions.
• Manage contractors including tendering and contract administration.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues.
• Oversee maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor expenditure and support budget control.
