Job summary

Aurecon invites applications for a Civil & Structural role to support our engineering team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will contribute to conceptual through detailed design, liaise with clients and contractors, and ensure alignment with design criteria and standards.

This position requires a Civil Engineering degree, registration with BEM, and 3–5 years of consulting experience. Proficiency in Civil 3D and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in an engineering consulting firm.
• Experienced in infrastructural design for earthworks, road & drainage, water and sewerage.
• Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with popular design software; working knowledge in Civil 3D would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, basic, and detailed design calculations and drawings.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate designs with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors.
• Provide technical knowledge during tendering and project procurement; liaise between sub-contractors and the site.
• Ensure compliance with project design criteria, client brief, and design standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor or team leader.
