About the role

Boon Boon Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Engineer to join our engineering team in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction and engineering projects. As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, managing timelines, and maintaining quality standards. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering outstanding infrastructure and construction solutions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and manage technical aspects of engineering projects from inception through completion
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects stay on track and within scope
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure work complies with design specifications and industry standards
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation required for project implementation and handover
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation for future reference and compliance
• Support the project team in achieving project objectives and client satisfaction
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates to senior management

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Proven experience in project engineering or site engineering within the construction or infrastructure sector
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and engineering standards
• Proficiency in project management software and technical drawing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM software)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Familiarity with relevant Malaysian building codes and regulations is advantageous
