Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise daily site operations and manage civil infrastructure projects from setup to completion. You will coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and authorities while enforcing safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of site management experience in civil works, and a degree in civil engineering or construction management. Based on-site in Malaysia, with opportunities across major site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of solid site management experience focused on civil infrastructure and heavy groundworks.
• Broad technical knowledge across civil works, site execution, resource deployment, and contractor supervision.
• An ambitious, practical site problem solver with strong leadership skills and independent project management capabilities.
• Open to candidates who are local Sarawakians / based in Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations and overall project delivery for civil infrastructure developments
• Oversee key construction stages including major earthworks, road works, site clearing, utilities, and civil infrastructure installations from setup to project completion
• Liaise closely with sub-contractors, consultants, site authorities, and key project stakeholders to ensure smooth operational alignment and compliance
• Lead ground level problem solving, monitor site progress against schedules, and enforce strict safety guidelines and quality specifications on-site
