Job summary

SPRING POWER SDN BHD is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Bintulu, Sarawak. You will contribute to the design, planning and execution of civil and structural projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE registration or eligibility with the relevant board.
• Solid 2-3 years post-graduation experience in civil/structural engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and investigations to assess ground conditions and project feasibility.
• Design and develop civil and structural engineering solutions using industry-standard software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Perform calculations and analyses for structural integrity and safety compliance.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Conduct quality inspections and monitoring during construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare project reports and documentation.
• Support tender processes and provide technical input for proposals.
