Job summary

Bright Prospect invites a skilled Chemist to operate and maintain analytical instruments such as GC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and ICP-OES/ICP-MS in its Malaysia lab. You will perform analyses, verify methods, and ensure accuracy of results.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field and 3–5 years hands-on experience in an analytical lab, with GMP and FSSC 22000 familiarity. Join a quality-focused team ensuring compliant results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in analytical laboratory environment.
• Strong practical experience with GC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and ICP-OES/ICP-MS.
• Good understanding of GMP and FSSC 22000.
• Experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.

Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments with hands‑on expertise in chromatographic and spectrometric techniques

Perform analysis using:

Gas Chromatography (GC)

Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS)

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES/ICP-MS)

Ensure optimal performance of laboratory instruments through routine calibration and preventive maintenance

Conduct method verification and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical results

Troubleshoot instrument and method-related issues in a timely and effective manner

Maintain proper documentation in compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements

Ensure adherence to GMP, FSSC 22000, and other applicable quality and food safety standards

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in analytical laboratory environment
