Jora Malaysia is seeking aChemist to operate and maintain ICP-OES instruments for multi-elemental analysis and to prepare, digest, and dilute samples according to SOPs. You will calibrate, verify, and standardize instruments while analysing data to ensure accuracy.
The role includes managing sample preparation for various matrices, recording data, and preparing reports. You will support COA releases and uphold GLP/ISO/ASTM standards in QA/QC checks.

Operate and maintain ICP-OES instruments for multi-elemental analysis.
Prepare, digest, and dilute samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform instrument calibration, verification, and standardization.
Analyse and interpret ICP-OES data to ensure accuracy and precision.
Manage sample preparation for various matrices (water, chemicals, raw materials, etc.).
Record and maintain accurate analytical data.
Prepare reports and communicate findings to supervisors and relevant departments.
To ensure COA is released timely.
Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of ICP equipment.
Monitor instrument performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO/ASTM standards.
Participate in proficiency testing, method validation, and QA/QC checks.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Develop and validate new ICP analytical methods for different matrices.
Optimize detection limits, accuracy, and precision based on project requirements.
To assist the Marketing Department and HoD on NCR issues, reports, fulfilling customer requirements and complaints of any matters relevant
