Job summary

TWY Search International (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for a Chargeman A4 for its data centre, operating on a 24/7 shift rotation. You will perform daily checks on M&E systems, take readings with a digital checklist, and provide first level support for M&E, coordinating with third-party vendors for maintenance and incidents.

The ideal candidate holds a Chargeman A4 with PJ4 or higher, CIDB Green Card, SPM or higher, and 3–5 years of critical facility management experience, with good health and fluency

Qualifications

• Must hold Malaysian citizenship.
• Must possess Chargeman A4 with PJ4 certificate or higher by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum SPM certificate in any discipline.
• Possess CIDB Green Card.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in critical Facility Management Services, preferably in Data Centre.
• Must be in good health and fit to work.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily round checks with checklist for all M&E systems supporting Bank Data Centre.
• Take readings with digital checklist using tablet for all critical M&E systems and submit to Bank monthly.
• Provide first level support for all M&E systems including break fix.
• Manage all Data Centre facilities related incidents and breakdown.
• Standby for all electrical servicing work by 3rd party vendors (TNB, etc.).
• Perform weekly generator set off load test (5–10 minutes per gen set).
• Perform yearly generator set on load test (45–60 minutes per gen set).
• Perform switching for HT and LV switchgears.
• Ensure power readiness for all assigned server and network racks.
• Perform all necessary tests including polarity, insulation, and phase rotation.

To perform daily round checks with checklist for all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems supporting Bank Data Centre, including taking readings with digital checklist using tablet for all critical M&E systems and submitting to Bank on a monthly basis. The role involves providing first level support for all M&E systems including break fix, managing all Data Centre facilities related incidents and breakdown, and standing by for all electrical servicing work by 3rd party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily round checks with checklist for all M&E systems supporting Bank Data Centre
• Take readings with digital checklist using tablet for all critical M&E systems and submit to Bank on a monthly basis
• Provide first level support for all M&E systems including break fix
• Manage all Data Centre facilities related incidents and breakdown
• Standby for all electrical servicing work by 3rd party vendors (TNB, etc.)
• Perform weekly generator set off load test and each generator set is required to run between 5 to 10 minutes
• Perform yearly generator set on load test and each generator set is required to run between 45 to 60 minutes

About you

• Must be Malaysian citizen
• Must possess competent Chargeman A4 with valid PJ4 certificate or higher by Suruhanjaya Tenaga

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in critical Facility Management Services, preferably in managing Data Centre
• Must be in good health and fit to work
• Able to communicate and write in Bahasa Melayu and English
