Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Facilities Manager to lead and manage a team of Technicians responsible for building services and data centre equipment in good condition.

You will perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance, monitor third-party contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies, audits, and client satisfaction targets while maintaining a tidy, safe engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in facilities management or building operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work shifts, public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure building services and data centre equipment operate in good condition.
• Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance as per plan.
• Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to safe and legal routines.
• Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy.
• Maintain equipment according to risk assessment standards and act quickly on issues.
• Maintain engineering areas and plant rooms for tidiness and safe access.
• Achieve 100% compliance of site to key client and audits.
• Meet or exceed Client Satisfaction survey targets.
• Continuously improve service.

Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance work in accordance with the plan

Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to the safe and legal routines

Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy

Maintain equipment according to the risk assessment standards and act quickly on any issues

Maintain engineering area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access

100% compliance of site to key client and APM audits

Meet or exceed Client Satisfaction survey targets

KEY COMPETENCIES

Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance and services.

Customer oriented, a team player, able to work independently and good interpersonal & leadership skills

Able to work under pressure and in a fast changing environment

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends
