Job summary

Enterprise Powertech Sdn Bhd seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspection, testing and repair of electrical systems in a site-based setting. The role includes maintaining safety standards, calibrating instruments, and handling emergency repairs as directed.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of building maintenance experience, be familiar with electrical meters and testing tools, and be able to read electrical drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and safety practices.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant building maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with electrical tools, meters (like insulation testers, mustimeters) and testing instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in site environments.
• Willing to work in a site-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Register and maintain the required Chargeman certification with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and other relevant authorities.
• Routine inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical systems including generators, switchgear, capacitors, cabling, wiring, lighting, earthing and power distribution systems.
• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical equipment and systems in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and safety standards.
• Carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Maintain electrical safety standards by following procedures, using protective gear and adhering to lockout / tagout protocols.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including piping, water supply, drainage, sanitary fittings, leaks, blockages, and water pressure issues.
• Monitor electrical equipment performance and report abnormalities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, tests and inspections.
• Assist in calibration and testing of instruments and protective relays.
• Participate in emergency repairs and shutdown activities as directed.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety standards.
