Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Malaysia is seeking a facilities operations leader to manage a team of technicians responsible for building services and data center equipment. The role requires a Chargeman A4 certificate, 3+ years in facilities management, and strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

The position is on-site in Senawang, with shifts and public holiday work. Fluency in Malay and English is essential, along with the ability to perform preventive maintenance and monitor

Qualifications

• Chargeman A4 Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance and services.
• Customer oriented, a team player, able to work independently and good interpersonal & leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast changing environment
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure the building services and data center equipment’s are working in a good conditions
• Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance work in accordance with the plan
• Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to the safe and legal routines
• Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy
• Maintain equipment according to the risk assessment standards and act quickly on any issues
• Maintain engineering area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
