Job summary

SMK Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Beranang, Selangor, seeks a capable Leader to head the PLMT Department and the maintenance team. You will oversee electrical, facility, and utility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, coordinating contractors and inspections, and driving energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/facility maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in consumer electronics manufacturing.

• Manage electrical, facility, and utility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Lead and manage the PLMT Department and maintenance team.

Manage electrical, facility, and utility systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Monitor and maintain electrical systems, generators, solar PV, HVAC, compressors, STP, and firefighting systems.

Plan and execute preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.

Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), ISO, and occupational safety requirements.

Coordinate contractors, statutory inspections, and maintenance activities.

Lead maintenance improvement, energy-saving, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Requirements

Experience in electrical/facility maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.
