Job summary

Edmund Tie & Company in Subang Jaya is seeking a competent electrical maintenance technician to perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on LV electrical and generating systems, under Suruhanjaya Tenaga registration.

The role requires an A4 Chargeman certificate, a diploma in Mechanical/Electrical, 2-3 years of experience, and strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Independence and minimal supervision are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical and possess A4 Chargeman Certificate.
• 2-3 years working experience.
• Fair oral and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Register with Suruhanjaya Tenaga as A4 charger for the premise.
• Attend to complaints made by clients.
• Initiate and close work requests to meet maintenance requirements.
• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance work on LV electrical systems and all generating systems.
• Troubleshoot, analyse, test and re-programme all electrical controls on LV and ancillary equipment.
• Prepare all electrical spare/replacement parts.
• Perform emergency role as defined by Company Emergency Response Plan.
