Standard Chartered is seeking a Chapter Lead - Backend in Malaysia to lead a team of engineers while remaining hands-on in designing and building back-end solutions. The role focuses on high code quality, mentoring, and driving best practices while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable applications.

You will be responsible for aligning chapters with the core product strategy, ensuring delivery within capacity, and maturing the craft with automation and modern market

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java backend development and OOP concepts.
• Strong experience with Spring/Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Knowledge of RESTful services, JSON and XML data formats.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor backend engineers within the squad and hive.
• Ensure high code quality and promote best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Tech Leads to plan delivery within capacity.
