Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an Engineering Lead in Malaysia to oversee the delivery of high-quality, innovative products and solutions. You will lead strategic technical initiatives, collaborate with product, design and operations teams, and guide multiple squads toward scalable, reliable systems.

Knowledge of Wealth Management, particularly Banca domain, is preferred. The role emphasizes architecture governance, risk management, and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex enterprise projects.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with quality and on-time delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of wealth management domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership across multiple squads and domains.
• Align solutions with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Oversee delivery, risk management and governance.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Architecture Team and Release Managers.
• Drive technology strategy and roadmaps; mentor engineers and foster learning.
