Job summary

Axross (YC W22) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a CEO Office - Strategy & Business Development Associate to accelerate growth and strategic initiatives. You will support high-level decision-making, perform market research, and build partnerships with industry players, government agencies, and investors.

You'll shape market expansion, develop pricing insights, and prepare board materials, investor updates, and strategic reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business strategy, consulting, BD, or corporate affairs.
• Ability to work with deep tech; engineering background preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for high-profile stakeholders.
• Understanding of Southeast Asia business landscape; energy ESG HVAC/manufacturing is a plus.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel regionally for industry events and meetings.

• Support the CEO in negotiations, commercial structuring, and stakeholder engagement.
• Represent Axross at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen brand positioning.
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, and funding discussion reports.
• Develop thought leadership content on AI, ESG, and sustainability to enhance Axross’s industry presence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business strategy, consulting, business development, or corporate affairs.
• Ability to work with deep tech and to pick up technical knowledge. Engineering background will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage high-profile stakeholders.
• Understanding of Southeast Asia’s business landscape (experience in energy efficiency, ESG, HVAC, or manufacturing is a plus).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Willingness to travel regionally for industry events and strategic meetings.
