Job summary

Tokmer Global Sdn. Bhd., headquartered in Melaka, is hiring a Central Kitchen Assistant for Plaza Semabok.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. You will prepare ingredients, assist with food prep, help the production crew, maintain hygiene, manage stock using FIFO/FEFO, and support kitchen operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required. Training will be provided.
• Experience in an F&B kitchen is an added advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Hardworking, disciplined, clean, and punctual.
• Willing to work shifts or early mornings when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions from the Production Supervisor.
• Assist with food preparation, including cutting, washing, weighing, and packing ingredients.
• Perform basic cooking tasks or assist the production crew during cooking.
• Handle raw ingredients in line with food hygiene and safety SOPs.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Assist with daily stock management, including receiving, labelling and storing items per FIFO/FEFO.
• Clean and store kitchen equipment after use and support operations during peak hours.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
