Job summary

Parkland Group is seeking a proactive Leasing Manager to handle end-to-end specialty leasing for its mall portfolio in Malaysia. You will source tenants, develop retailer relationships, and manage lease documentation from LOIs to tenancy agreements.

The role also covers planning mall events and monetising space across atriums and kiosks. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mall leasing or related fields, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a commercially minded approach to maximise

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Property Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Min 3 years of experience in mall leasing, retail, sales, business development, event management, or a related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, sales, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with retailers, brands, and business partners.
• Proactive, target-driven, and commercially minded, with the ability to source new tenants, identify business opportunities, and maximise mall space utilisation.
• Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple leasing, event, and promotional activities effectively and work well with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Specialty Leasing
• Manage the complete specialty/casual mall leasing process, including enquiries, space allocation, negotiations, documentation, tenancy arrangements, and follow-up to ensure smooth execution.
• Tenant Sourcing & Business Development
• Conduct market research to identify potential retailers, brands, businesses, and market opportunities. Proactively source, approach, negotiate, and secure suitable tenants with guidance from the superior.
• Tenant & Retailer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective retailers, ensuring a high level of service and encouraging repeat leasing and long-term collaboration.
• Lease Administration & Documentation
• Coordinate leasing documentation and ensure timely issuance and completion of Letters of Offer (LO), tenancy agreements, licences, permits, and other relevant documents.
• Mall Events & Promotional Activities
• Plan, coordinate, and support mall events, roadshows, exhibitions, pop-up activities, brand activations, and seasonal campaigns. Liaise with tenants, event organisers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure successful execution.
• Space Monetisation & Ad-Hoc Projects
• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue from atriums, kiosks, common areas, promotional spaces, and other mall assets, while supporting other leasing, marketing, event, and ad-hoc projects assigned by the superior.

Requirements
