Job summary

Pacific Quartz (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, is seeking a Production Operator (Casting) to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis. You will operate casting machinery, read control interfaces, monitor quality, and maintain records to support meeting production targets and customer satisfaction.

The role requires experience in casting/manufacturing, strong safety awareness, and willingness to travel to China for hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Full working rights for Malaysia; fluent Chinese (listening, speaking, reading and writing) with basic English or Bahasa Malaysia
• Experience as production/operator in casting or manufacturing
• Willingness to travel to China for hands-on training
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals; interpret process parameters and safety regulations
• Strong safety awareness including pressure vessel safety and crane operations

Responsibilities

• Operate casting machinery and equipment per procedures and safety protocols
• Read and interpret control interfaces, parameters, and alarm information
• Monitor production to ensure quality specifications are met
• Prepare raw materials and components for casting
• Maintain and clean casting equipment and ensure proper documentation of quality checks
• Follow work instructions and 5S practices to maintain efficiency
• Record production data and reports accurately
• Ensure PPE usage and maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations within the facility
• Participate in training programs, including hands-on training in China
