Job summary

Bayu Castings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Castings Plant Manager to oversee precision metal-foundry operations, leading teams to meet output goals and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and 5–7 years of leadership in foundry or precision manufacturing. Candidates must reside in Ipoh/Batu Gajah, have own transport, and be willing to work at the Batu Gajah castings foundry with safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Male with good health physically.
• Residing in Ipoh/Batu Gajah area (Foundry location in Batu Gajah industrial area).
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of leadership/management experience in sand/investment foundry or precision manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of investment casting, metallurgy and foundry equipment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Capable to manage and supervise a technical and production team.
• Plan and enforce production schedules to hit output goals on time and within budget.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

A Castings Plant Manager overseeas precision metal-foundry operations, managing teams and processes to create pattern moulds, pour molten metal and meet strict manufacturing & clients' requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

Male with good health physically.

Residing in Ipoh/Batu Gajah area (Foundry location is in Batu Gajah industrial area).

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or a related industrial field.

Minimum of 5 - 7 years of leadership or management experience in a sand/investment foundry or precision manufacturing environment.

Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of investment casting, metallurgy and foundry equipment.

Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.

Leadership : Capable to manage and supervise a team technical and production staff.

Schedule Production : Plan and enforce production schedules to hit output goals on time and within budget.

Control Quality : Maintain rigorous quality standards for precision metal parts, minimizing defects and scrap rates.

Ensure Safety : Enforce workplace safety protocols, environmental regulations and OSHA/local compliance.

Willing to work @ castings foundry in Batu Gajah area.

Possess own transport.
