Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd in Malaysia is seeking a Coordinator for Cargo Operations Planning & Execution. You will oversee planning and execution across load/discharge, ensuring timely vessel reconciliation and adherence to deadlines.

You will review cargo documentation, DG acceptance, and customs status while coordinating with partners to exchange information and prepare manifests. The role requires a university degree or diploma in marine studies with at least one year in cargo/terminal operations, and

Qualifications

University Degree or Diploma in Marine Studies or similar with logistics exposure.
1+ year of cargo operations and terminal experience is preferred.
Good understanding of port, terminal and cargo handling processes.
Fluent in written and spoken English; strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning and execution of cargo operations across Load/Discharge and vessel reconciliation.
Coordinate load, discharge, vessel finalization, and adhere to deadlines and cut-offs.
Review cargo documents, DG acceptance, and customs status; maintain accurate records.
Prepare load lists, manifests, and special cargo / reefers as required.
Collaborate with partners to exchange timely load/discharge information and reports.
