AFFIN BANK BERHAD is seeking a senior project manager to lead major Core Card System changes (ASCCEND) and related system initiatives within the Cards Business. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, timeline, and budgets to deliver high-impact enhancements.

You will liaise with vendors, validate SOWs, oversee testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide executive dashboards and post-implementation reviews to keep stakeholders informed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in IT, business admin or related field; Master’s is an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years in project management, system integration or card systems in financial services.
• Strong understanding of card systems and payment platforms.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing methods and QA processes.
• Strong analytical skills for cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and local banking regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources.
• Experience preparing executive dashboards for senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead liaison for Core Card System changes and related activities across Cards Business.
• Oversee project costing, expenditures, scopes, resources, deliverables, timelines and milestones.
• Liaise with vendors regarding deliverables, quotations, invoices, payments and agreements.
• Evaluate service requests and vendor SOWs through cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
• Define new requirements with teams and monitor delivery status of new functionality.
• Ensure test cases and scenarios are defined, tested and signed off before implementation.
• Ensure changes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates, dashboards and post-implementation reviews.
• Address post-implementation issues and ensure documentation readiness.
• Perform vendor performance evaluation and regular reviews.
