Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Cards Migration Consultant in Malaysia to lead large-scale credit card portfolio migrations within the banking and payments sector. This hands-on transformation role requires deep card issuing and payments knowledge and the ability to manage complex workstreams with senior stakeholders.

You will drive planning, execution sequencing, stakeholder coordination and operational readiness while minimising customer disruption across multi-market delivery.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience in cards/payments/banking transformation, consulting or programme delivery.
• Proven experience delivering or leading card migration programmes.
• Strong understanding of card issuing ecosystem, processing, authorisation, clearing and settlement.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programmes with multiple stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated card migration workstreams with planning, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate migration strategy, waves and execution sequencing.
• Map card products across features, pricing, rewards, and customer propositions.
• Collaborate with business, technology, operations, risk, fraud, compliance and finance to resolve dependencies.
• Manage risks, issues, actions and readiness for migration.
• Support cutover preparation and post-migration stabilisation.
• Assess customer and operational impact including service disruption and attrition.
• Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with stakeholders.
• Prepare programme updates, roadmaps and steering materials.
