Job summary

MCKL Penang (Pykett Campus) is seeking a committed person to take charge of the hostel's day-to-day operational needs on campus. The role functions as the “heart” of the campus, overseeing hostel operations, facilities maintenance, safety, administration, and supporting the overall student experience.

This position will be based at MCKL Penang, Pykett Campus. The successful candidate will manage utilities, documents, room allocation, vendor coordination, occupancy, and ISO-QMS documentation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• Able to work Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm, with flexibility for hostel duties.
• Must have a valid Malaysian driving license.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and spoken.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly utility bills and cost calculations.
• Manage contracts, inventories, hostel records, and SOP files.
• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations including check-ins/outs and room allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors for repairs, maintenance, and projects.
• Track hostel occupancy and student matters; handle disciplinary cases.
• Support ISO-QMS documentation, updates, and compliance requirements.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial data entry into the college system.
• Provide operational support to campus events as needed.
