103 Coffee in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Barista to join our team. You will greet customers, take orders, and assist with menu recommendations while maintaining high service standards.
As a key member of front-of-house operations, you will operate espresso machines, manage cashiering, train junior baristas, and ensure consistent beverage quality with strict hygiene and safety practices.

Greet customers courteously and attend to their orders in a timely and professional manner
Assist customers with menu recommendations, detailed product information, and service-related inquiries
Handle cashiering duties accurately, including order processing and payment handling
Support daily café operations including order taking, food and beverage serving, and table clearing
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, counter, and front-of-house equipment
Follow outlet SOPs, service standards, and hygiene requirements at all times
Collaborate with outlet team members to ensure smooth café operations
Follow work schedules and instructions assigned by outlet supervisor
Guide and support Baristas and Barista Trainees in beverage preparation and service standards
Prepare coffee and beverages to a high professional standard, ensuring consistency and quality
Oversee beverage preparation processes and ensure adherence to café recipes and standards
Perform basic calibration, equipment checks, and bar setup to support consistent output
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area and equipment
Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Bar Manager, or Outlet Manager
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Barista in a café or F&B environment.
Strong coffee knowledge with hands‑on experience in coffee preparation, beverage making, and maintaining consistent product quality.
Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other bar equipment, including basic calibration and troubleshooting.
Familiar with POS systems, cashiering, menu knowledge, beverage standards, and service procedures.
Good understanding of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Customer‑oriented with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsible, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to guide, mentor, and train junior baristas, ensuring consistency in coffee preparation and service standards.
Willing to learn and committed to long‑term career growth.
Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Shift-based work, including weekends and public holidays.
Fast-paced café environment with prolonged standing.
Hands‑on role involving continuous customer interaction and beverage preparation.
Occasional support required during peak periods or special promotions.
