Job summary

SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an installation and networking technician to perform wiring, cabling, and testing at customer sites. You will install and repair electrical wiring and networking cabling, assist in projects, and ensure safety and adherence to client requirements.

Candidate must have IT/CE/EE/Telecom certification or degree, relevant wiring experience, and a valid driving license; willingness to travel nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems
• Organized, strong communication and excellent time management skills
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel nationwide within Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites
• Assemble, install and repair electrical wiring and networking cabling
• Assist in carrying projects as assigned by management/superior
• Ensure project works are completed safely, on schedule and per client requirements
• Able to work extra hours, independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by Superior/Management

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To perform installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites, ensuring all cabling works are completed safely, accurately and according to project requirements.
• To perform assembling, installing and repairing electrical wiring and networking cabling.
• To assist in carrying projects as assigned by the management/superior
• Ensure the project works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with client requirements.
• Able to work extra hours, independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Superior / Management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/ PW4/ Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.
• Organized, strong communication and excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
• Possess a valid driving license
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation and nationwide within Malaysia.
