Job summary

SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an on-site technician to perform maintenance, issue verification, and basic troubleshooting on CCTV, NVR, network devices, and access control systems.

The role requires travelling nationwide within Malaysia, with the ability to work after hours, weekends, and public holidays when needed. You will prepare site reports and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of field service experience.
• Professional certificate or diploma/degree in IT or engineering.
• Own transport and ability to travel nationwide within Malaysia.
• Willing to work after office hours, weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Attend assigned customer sites to perform maintenance support and issue verification.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and inspection of CCTV, NVR, network devices, access control systems, UPS, and related infrastructure.
• Verify equipment status, connectivity, power supply, and physical conditions.
• Prepare and submit site verification and diagnostic reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for issue escalation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and support project documentation.
• Provide 24×7 standby/on-call support when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards during site visits.
• To perform assembling, installing and repairing electrical wiring and networking cabling
• To assist in carrying our projects or any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management/superior

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/ PW4/ Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support, maintenance, or field service operations.
• Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field is required for this position
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.
• Able to perform onsite troubleshooting and work independently.
• Possess own transport and able to travel outstation, nationwide within Malaysia.
• Ability to work after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
