Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Malaysia's HNW and UHNW ecosystem.
• Identify referral opportunities through private banks, wealth managers, family offices, insurance intermediaries and other professional networks.
• Leverage existing relationships and market knowledge to identify potential HNW/UHNW clients who may benefit from international wealth planning and insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners.
• Develop new business channels and strategic partnerships to expand market reach in Malaysia.
• Maintain regular engagement with existing referral partners and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover and progression of qualified opportunities.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the Malaysian private wealth and HNW insurance landscape.
• Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with senior private banking, wealth management and professional-services contacts.

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to develop and expand relationships within the High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) market in Malaysia.

The role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities through established relationships across the private wealth ecosystem, including private bankers, wealth managers, family offices, insurance professionals, external asset managers and other HNW referral partners.

This is a relationship-driven business development role suited to someone who already has an established network within Malaysia's HNW / private wealth market.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities through referrals and networks.
• Good understanding of HNW/UHNW client needs and wealth planning solutions.
