Job summary

Good Job Creations is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to develop and expand relationships within Malaysia's HNW and UHNW market. The role focuses on leveraging an established network to generate referrals across private banks, wealth managers, family offices and insurance professionals.

This remote position requires a minimum of five years in financial services, with a proven track record in private wealth and client acquisition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business development, relationship management or client acquisition within financial services or related field.
• Strong existing network within the Malaysian HNW/UHNW market.
• Established relationships with private bankers, wealth managers, family offices, and other HNW sources.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate opportunities through referrals.
• Good understanding of HNW/UHNW client needs and wealth planning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Malaysia's HNW and UHNW ecosystem.
• Identify referral opportunities through private banks, wealth managers, family offices, insurance intermediaries and other professional networks.
• Leverage existing relationships and market knowledge to identify potential HNW/UHNW clients who may benefit from international wealth planning and insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners.
• Develop new business channels and strategic partnerships to expand market reach in Malaysia.
• Maintain regular engagement with existing referral partners and identify opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Work collaboratively with consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover and progression of qualified opportunities.
• Monitor market developments, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within the Malaysian private wealth and HNW insurance landscape.
• Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with senior private banking, wealth management and professional-services contacts.
