Manfred Auto Academy is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the academy beyond student recruitment. This role will build relationships with automotive businesses, identify skills gaps, and turn those needs into commercially viable training programmes and partnerships.
Develop relationships with automotive workshops, service centres, dealerships, distributors, fleet operators, and other industry partners.
Identify demand for technician training, upskilling, short courses, and other practical programmes.
Secure corporate training contracts, partnership agreements, and other sources of business revenue.
Build a pipeline of prospective partners and manage it from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and agreement.
Recommend new business opportunities and growth directions based on customer discussions and market demand.
Report on leads, proposals, signed partnerships, revenue, and progress against targets.
Established relationships within Malaysia’s automotive industry, with the ability to reach decision makers.
Proven experience in business development, partnership development, corporate sales, or automotive training.
A track record of securing business, not only generating contacts or arranging meetings.
The ability to understand an employer’s skills needs and turn them into a clear training proposal.
Strong communication, negotiation, and follow through.
Experience working with automotive workshops, dealer networks, training providers, or technical education institutions would be an advantage.
