As PLG Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new customers and strengthening existing accounts. You will work closely with customers to understand their logistics needs and provide suitable solutions across freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and 3PL services, while building strong and lasting business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and grow existing accounts.
• Sell logistics services such as freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs clearance and 3PL solutions.
• Identify potential customers and conduct cold calls, visits and presentations.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate rates and service agreements.
• Understand customers' logistics requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Follow up on sales leads and convert them into business.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and handle service issues.
• Monitor sales targets, revenue, and gross profit.
• Prepare sales reports and update customer information in CRM.
• Good connections with local vendors such as Airlines, Shipping lines, transporters, co-loaders, etc.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of working experience in the logistics field.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer-service and business-development skills.
• Able to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of the Asia logistics market is an advantage.
• Existing customer contacts/network is a strong advantage.
