Job summary

TERA in Sabah is seeking a dynamic Sales/Business Development professional to generate new sales leads and secure client contracts. You will identify opportunities, pitch goods or services, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients across Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.

The role requires independence, initiative, and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a willingness to travel and possess own transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in marketing, engineering, science or finance or its equivalent.
• Preferable 2 years’ experience in sales / sales management.
• Passionate about environmental sustainability and renewable energy.
• Independent, self-initiative, responsible and committed, strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Good command of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales leads and client contracts.
• Identify sales leads and pitch goods or services to new/existing clients.
• Maintain good working relationships with new/existing clients.
• Follow up on new business opportunities and set up meetings.
• Plan and prepare presentations.
• Communicate new product developments to prospective clients.
• Oversee the development of marketing literature.
• Write sales/business development reports and track proposed clients.
• Ensure client satisfaction on projects delivered for Comm C&I Projects.
• Attend customer inquiries and complaints for residential projects.
• Provide management with feedback.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in marketing related courses / engineering / science / finance or its equivalent.
• Preferrable 2 years’ experience in sales / sales management.
• Passionate about environmental sustainability and renewable energy.

• Conduct market survey and update latest information to the company.
