As a Business Development Executive, you are to execute sale growth plans & activities in the General Trade category. Delivering long term sustainable & profitable growth for retailers.
A day in the life of a Business Development Executive
Accountable & responsible for thruput sales and brand performance of their respective portfolio of customer base assigned within the Pet Specialty Channel
Responsible to ensure compliance of Trade spend within the allocated budget defined by BDM by Category and Channel Group
Accountable for Product Distribution & Merchandising Standards as per guidelines
BDE acountable to track and share weekly performance of MHL/KMA/Sell-In to BDM every Monday
Advisory role to retailer, understand business owner needs and ensure customer intimacy
Sell and negotiate buy-in to Retailer Incentive Programme
Conduct business reviews on a quarterly basis for Top 10 customers
Conduct product trainings on a regular basis for retailers and their staff
Ensure 100% coverage and call frequencies to customers, as defined by BDM
Responsible for coverage expansion (including Breeders/Vets/Online Pet Shops) , as defined by BDM
What will make you successful?
Education: University Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) OR SPM qualification with (5 years of sales reps with experience)
Between 3 – 5 years in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs.
Experience with Customer Management background will be an added advantage.
Capacity to understands all sales functions i.e. CCSD, Customer, Field
Had experience in managing Field Sales team.
Stakeholder management skills and solution-oriented, self-motivated, results-oriented
