Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a Business Development Executive to build strong relationships with architects and landscape architects, generate new business, and coordinate with design teams.

The role involves calls, appointments, and presenting products and services to potential clients. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree and at least 3 years of specification sales experience for building materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in specification sales for building materials with Architects.
• Contacts with Landscape Architects will be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relationships with clients, especially architects and landscape architects.
• Make cold calls to prospective clients and arrange appointments.
• Inform potential clients about latest products and services on a cyclical basis.
• Serve existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning daily activities to call on leads.
• Focus sales efforts by studying dealer volumes and potential growth.
• Submit quotations using price lists and product drawings/specifications.
• Provide management with activity and results reports (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
• Monitor competition and industry developments to inform pricing, products, and policies.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and proposing solutions.
• Assist the existing designer with design proposals and rendering using SketchUp, Lumion, AutoCAD, or Photoshop (optional).
