Job summary

Tele-Paper Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales by managing assigned markets and developing new business opportunities. You will play a key role in expanding our footprint as a leading thermal paper manufacturer.

Based in Selangor, the role offers a salary package with basic salary plus commission and allowances, a five-day work week, medical coverage, and opportunities for continuous learning and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent with at least 3 years of sales experience.
• Experience in paper printing or corporate sales is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of office processes and technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by generating revenue from new and existing customers.
• Identify customer needs by asking questions and listening.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep up with new products and product benefits.
• Maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
• Ensure timely payment collections from customers.
• Provide feedback to management on customer input.
• Collaborate with team members and attend meetings.

What You’ll Do

• Understanding that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction to customers
• Generating sales revenue through new and existing customers.
• Determine each customer's needs by asking questions and listening.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Resolves customer complaints and other matters.
• Keep abreast of new products and their benefits to customers
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Responsible for collection of payments from customers
• Provide timely feedback to manager regarding customers feedback.
• Work proactively with other team members
• Weekly and monthly reporting, attend meetings and training
• Participate in Marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing events.
• Follow up on collections of payment.
• Undertake special or ad-hoc tasks / assignments / project as and when required by Management from time to time.

What We’re Looking For

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM or equivalent or min 3 years working experience
• Experience in Paper Printing or Corporate sales is an added advantage
• Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal
• Strong work ethic with high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Pleasant personality, self-motivated and team work
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malay and Mandarin to deal customer
• Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking customer.
• Leadership and independent in teamwork to accomplish routine task
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of urgency and ownership
• Possess own transport & Able to outstation
