Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Proven sales and business development experience in B2B manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients within territory and industry segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join Multi Graded Industries Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Parit Buntar, Perak, offering an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and expand our market presence. As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to the strategic expansion of our organisation. This role is essential to our sales and business development strategy, positioning you at the forefront of our growth initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and potential clients within your assigned territory and industry segments
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Developing tailored sales proposals and presentations to meet client needs and objectives
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy and identify market trends
• Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets and key performance indicators on a consistent basis
• Networking and attending industry events, trade shows, and business conferences to generate leads and enhance brand visibility
• Collaborating with internal teams including marketing, operations, and finance to support successful deal closure and implementation
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation on sales activities, pipeline progress, and client feedback
• Negotiating contracts and commercial terms to secure profitable business deals
• Providing excellent customer service and acting as a key point of contact for assigned accounts

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in a sales, business development, or consultancy role, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment
• Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices in the sales industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and close sales deals
• Self-motivated and driven individual with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline
• Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, verbal and written
• Knowledge of the industrial or manufacturing sector would be an advantageous
