Hicom Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Business Development Executive to support market research, KPI tracking and strategic initiatives. The role involves preparing business cases, coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders and assisting in M&A/JV research as directed.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred. The position requires strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin to engage with a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and data gathering across relevant segments.

Job description

To support HESB's business development and strategy function — conducting market research, coordinating strategic initiative tracking and providing administrative and analytical support to enable effective business development and commercial planning activities.

Job Description

To conduct market research and data gathering. Tracking industry trends, competitor activities and business opportunity indicators across relevant segments.

To support strategic initiative tracking. Maintaining KPI dashboards, progress trackers and action logs across BD workstreams.

To support business case and management presentation preparation. Compiling data, formatting materials and coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders.

To assist in M&A and JV research activities. Conducting background research, data compilation and preliminary screening support as directed.

To coordinate BD administrative requirements. Managing documentation, meeting coordination, filing and stakeholder correspondence.

To support NPI and go-to-market coordination. Assisting in tracking milestones and consolidating cross-functional inputs.

To prepare reports, summary updates and briefing materials for review by the Assistant Manager, Marketing & Strategy.

Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. However, 1-3 years of experiences in the field is desired.

Have good knowledge on market research methods and competitive analysis fundamentals, strategic initiative and KPI tracking tools, business case and presentation support, commercial documentation and reporting and basic project and task coordination.
