Job summary

Plassein Industry is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive business development within the automotive and plastics sectors. The role involves identifying opportunities, analyzing markets, and building lasting client relationships to sustain revenue growth.

You will engage with Chinese-speaking clients, prepare quotations with support from Engineering and Production teams, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful project delivery across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of B2B sales or manufacturing experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within automotive, plastic injection moulding, and related industries.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend evaluation.

• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend evaluation.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, and costing analysis in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements :-

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding is an added advantage.
• Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency is essential as the role will communicate directly with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers and management. Candidate must be able to speak, read and write Chinese confidently.

Authority :-

• Engage and negotiate with potential and existing customers.
• Recommend pricing strategies and commercial terms (subject to management approval).

Working Condition :-

• Combination of office and field work.
• Frequent travel for customer visits and business development activities.
• Based in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur & Penang.
