Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Development professional to support sales growth. You will identify new market opportunities, research industry trends, and generate leads through various channels. You will engage prospective customers, arrange meetings, assess requirements, and present suitable solutions.
The role involves preparing quotations, proposals, and pricing discussions while maintaining strong relationships with customers. Travel may be required to meet clients.

Support the implementation of business development plans and activities to achieve the Company's sales and growth objectives.
Identify and research prospective customers, new market opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Generate new leads through market research, referrals, networking, exhibitions, digital platforms, and direct outreach.
Contact prospective customers, arrange meetings, understand their requirements, and present suitable products, services, and business solutions.
Prepare proposals, quotations, samples, projects, and commercial discussions while maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Maintain accurate records of leads, customers contacts, opportunities, quotations, and prepare periodic pipeline reports and sales forecasts for management review.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and other relevant departments to evaluate customer requirements and support project feasibility, costing, and implementation.
Support contract and pricing discussions by gathering relevant information and coordinating internal review and approval.
Represent the Company professionally at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, industry events, and networking activities when required.
Collect customer and market feedback, recommend improvements, and carry out other related duties as directed by the immediate superior or Management.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, or key account support; manufacturing or electronics industry experience is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Experience in preparing quotations, proposals, sales reports, and customer presentations is preferred.
Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel for customer meetings and business activities when required.
Good business awareness with an understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management (CRM), and market research.
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify customer needs, coordinate internally, and follow through on multiple opportunities and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM systems and business reporting tools is an advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills; proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency will be added advantages.
Able to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure while working under pressure.
