We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive business growth through new projects, partnerships, platforms and effective coordination across teams. The role is responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, managing projects and supporting the team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for finding new business opportunities, exploring new markets and channels, and creating plans to grow the business.
- Lead and coordinate business development projects from planning to completion, ensuring clear goals, smooth execution, timely delivery and good results.
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships, develop new partnership opportunities, and ensure partnerships deliver value to the company.
- Explore and develop new business platforms and sales channels, coordinate related activities, and improve platform performance to support business growth.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth execution of business activities, follow up on tasks, resolve issues, and provide regular updates and reports.
- Guide and develop team members by setting clear goals and KPIs, providing coaching and feedback, and building a positive and high-performing team.
- Set and improve SOPs, KPIs and PMF to ensure clear expectations, consistent performance, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required, working with different teams to resolve issues, complete tasks, and respond to changing business needs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, project management, partnership or a related role.
- Strong communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Good business sense and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Able to lead, coach and develop subordinates.
- Result-oriented, proactive and responsible.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Must have own transport.
- Willing to support company Roadshows and any Sales Events during weekends when required.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Occasional weekend support is required for company Roadshows, Annual Sales Events and other business activities.
