Job summary

INNOValues Precision Sdn Bhd is expanding and seeking a hands-on engineer to lead sampling projects, review drawings, and coordinate with Engineering, Production and QA teams. You will drive PPAP, SPC analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring timely sample deliveries.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing or machining, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
• 3–5 years working experience in manufacturing or machining environment.
• Able to read technical drawings and understand GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of PCP, FMEA, SPC, FAI, and PPAP (automotive experience is an advantage).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Experience in handling projects and performing SPC analysis.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an advantage (to communicate with Chinese clients), but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of machining operations, and basic programming (Solid Works, G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the window person for customers enquiry or sample requests.
• Lead the Engineering, Production, QA all new samples, new processes, and part evaluations study.
• Ensure sample orders are prepared as per print and delivered on time.
• Work closely with Process Engineers to review build results and solve problems.
• Review part drawings, dimensions, and tolerances; clarify any doubts quickly.
• Check feasibility of part production and provide feedback and negotiate with customer if issues arise.
• Confirm with all department availability of materials, tooling, fixtures and gauges. Arrange sourcing if needed.
• Coordinate with QC/QA on proper measurement methods and FAI reports.
• Plan machine usage and ensure sample submission within 48 working hours (when possible).
• Monitor the overall process flow until the sample is delivered.
• Conduct first piece approval and review quality results also prepare CPK / CPM requirements.
• Record any problems during the build and support with Process engineering improvement actions.
• Prepare and submit PPAP documents (for automotive projects).
• Lead project handover to production with stable quality performance (SPC target required).
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas monthly.li>
• Perform other assigned duties according to company policies.
