The role emphasizes ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance, optimizing machinery utilization, supervising technical and maintenance staff, and identifying process improvements through data audits and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of related experience; 3+ years is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, supervisory, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to meet the production schedule.
• Ensure product quality procedures meet ISO 9001:2015 standard.
• Ensure optimum utilization and efficiency of machinery and quality of products.
• Supervise technical and maintenance personnel on project work and machine upgrades to reduce downtime.
• Audit and inspect production process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Consult with management to confirm project requirements and advise on improving methods.
• Participate in vendor or supplier sourcing and engage in vendor-customer meetings as required.

Job description

Assist the Factory Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to meet the production schedule.

Ensure product quality procedures meet the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard.

Ensure optimum utilization and efficiency of machinery and good quality of products manufactured.

Supervises technical and maintenance personnel in carrying out project work, and machine upgrading activities and avoiding or reducing downtime of the machinery.

Recommends and implements machine improvement and development programme.

Audit and inspect the production process data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Consult with management and the Factory Superintendent to confirm project requirements, and study and advise on improving methods and techniques.

Participate in vendor or supplier sourcing and be involved in vendor-customer meetings to ensure all related activities are done as per requirement and according to machine standards.

Any other duties as directed by the Factory Superintendent and Manufacturing Head.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Education - Bachelor's Degree in any engineering discipline, preferably in Manufacturing.

Experience - At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field; a minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field would be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability :-

• (i) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• (ii) Good analytical and supervisory skills.
• (iv) Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• (v) Required language (s) - Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin as this roles will required to liaise with our diverse client base and partners.
