Job summary

Petronas is seeking a Manager in Business Development & Commercial to lead end-to-end BD and commercial activities, including client acquisition, proposal development, pricing coordination, and partnerships. The role strengthens industry relationships, expands market reach, and drives revenue through client-centric executive education offerings.

Qualifications

Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics or related fields.
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, commercial or account management, preferably in executive education, professional services, training or B2B environments.
Experience in proposal development, client engagement and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end business development and commercial activities, including client acquisition and proposal development.
Coordinate pricing, prepare quotations, and manage commercial negotiations within approved authority.
Develop tailored proposals and value-driven solutions aligned with client requirements.
Manage end-to-end sales process: lead generation, opportunity tracking, and deal closure.
Support revenue targets through effective pipeline management and conversion of strategic opportunities.
Coordinate contracts, renewals and pricing records with internal teams to ensure profitability.
