MAHSA University in Malaysia is seeking dynamic Business Development professionals at Executive, Manager, or Director levels to drive growth, student recruitment, and partnerships within the education sector.

The role requires a strong commercial mindset and the ability to convert leads, partnerships, and market opportunities into measurable outcomes, with leadership experience preferred for higher levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Management, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, partnerships, student recruitment, outreach, or a related field.
• Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered for a Manager-level appointment.
• Candidates with 8+ years of relevant experience, together with leadership and strategic business development experience, may be considered for a Director-level appointment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to support institutional growth, revenue, and student enrolment objectives.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, market segments, and potential revenue channels.
• Drive sales activities and work toward achieving targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong BD/Sales pipeline, including leads, prospects, partnerships, and conversion activities.
• Follow up proactively on leads to maximise conversion and business results.
• Plan and participate in education fairs, roadshows, school visits, exhibitions, open days, outreach programmes, recruitment events, and other promotional activities.
• Work with Admissions, Marketing, Academic, and other relevant teams to ensure effective lead management and conversion from enquiry to enrolment.
• Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that contribute to student recruitment, revenue generation, market expansion, and institutional visibility.
• Lead and manage the Business Development and/or Student Recruitment team to achieve agreed targets.
