Job summary

Bright Property Service (MALAYSIA) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a seasoned Head of Business Development to lead the BD team, drive sales growth, and shape marketing and development strategies in Malaysia’s property sector.

You will identify new business opportunities, build partnerships with developers and agencies, and oversee proposals and tenders to secure long-term contracts while aligning cross-functional teams to ensure superior client experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead sales, marketing and BD initiatives in property management or development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with professional demeanor.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin preferred for client interactions.

Job description

Lead and drive the Business Development team to achieve sales growth and business targets.

Develop and execute effective sales, marketing, and business development strategies based on market trends.

Identify and secure new business opportunities while building strong relationships with developers, real estate agencies, JMB/MC committees, and key stakeholders.

Establish sales targets, monitor departmental KPIs, and optimize pricing and budget strategies to maximize business performance.

Build long-term client relationships to drive customer retention and recurring business.

Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and business agreements, while ensuring smooth execution of departmental initiatives and events.

Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support the company's continued growth.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Property Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within Business Development, Sales & Marketing, preferably in the property management or property development industry.
• Strong understanding of the property management industry with proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a confident and professional personality.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about achieving business growth.

Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when required to meet clients.

Working hours: 9am - 6pm (2 hours rest daily)
