Job summary

upscale is seeking a Business Analyst to gather user requirements, translate them into clear functional descriptions, and document stories, criteria, and workflows. The role involves mapping AS-IS and TO-BE processes in data-driven environments, validating information with SMEs, and supporting data flows and integration documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years as a BA, plus strong analytical and communication skills, and a relevant IT degree.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as Business Analyst.
• Experience with data-heavy systems, reporting platforms, or dashboards.
• Degree in IT, Business IT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from users and translate into clear functional descriptions.
• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and system workflows.
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes for systems with data, sensors, forms, monitoring, or multi-agency workflows.
• Validate information with SMEs and ensure completeness and consistency.

• Prepare diagrams and simple modelling outputs for review.
