We are looking for a Business Analyst (Indonesian Speaker) to join our team and support both fintech and non-fintech business initiatives. You will work across a portfolio of projects that may include digital payments, e-wallet and remittance products, as well as other operational systems — depending on business needs.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance and external partners to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user flows, user stories, and UAT scenarios.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can adapt business analysis practices across different industries, and is comfortable communicating with Indonesian-speaking stakeholders and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate Business/Product Requirement Documents (BRDs/PRDs) into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse and document business requirements, business rules, system logic, and exception scenarios across fintech and non-fintech projects.
- Create UI/UX wireframes, mockups, and end-to-end user journey flows using tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
- Develop and manage UAT plans, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure features meet business and functional requirements.
- For fintech-related projects: map payment transaction flows, settlement processes, API integrations, and system interactions (e.g. remittance, bill payments, card reloads, DuitNow, cross-border payments).
- For non-fintech projects: analyse operational workflows, system integrations, and process flows relevant to the specific business unit (e.g. CRM, internal systems).
- Investigate production issues and system/process failures, perform initial analysis, and translate findings into technical tickets for the Development team.
- Work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, Compliance, Operations, and external partners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain Agile User Stories and Acceptance Criteria using GitHub, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Support requirement gathering and communication with Indonesian-speaking stakeholders, partners, or business units where required.
- Contribute to process improvements and enhancements across the customer, transaction, or operational experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, QA, or a similar role.
- Experience in FinTech, e-wallet, digital payments, remittance, or banking is an advantage, but candidates with strong BA experience in non-fintech industries are equally welcome to apply.
- Fluent in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken — able to liaise confidently with Indonesian-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong experience in preparing FSDs/SRS, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
- Familiarity with digital payment processes (FPX, card processing, utility bill payments, remittance, DuitNow, cross-border payments) is a plus for fintech-track roles.
- Proficient in wireframing/prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
- Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, system integrations, and data flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the flexibility to work across different business domains.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, whether fintech or non-fintech.
Soft Skills We Look For
- Meticulous attention to detail—nothing slips past your documentation or test cases.
- Excellent communication skills to seamlessly translate business needs to technical teams.
- A collaborative mindset that pairs effectively with Product Managers and Developers in a fast-paced environment.
- If you are a detail-oriented Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, adapting across industries, and working with Indonesian-speaking stakeholders, we would love to hear from you.
