Job summary

Innovatus Software Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You'll work with stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze business processes.

You will create PRDs, BRDs, user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria; analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, propose future-state designs, and support UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT/IS or related field.
• 2–5 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and creating PRDs/BRDs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience facilitating requirement gathering sessions.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal English; Bahasa proficiency.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, MS Office / Google Workspace.
• Familiar with Process Flow Diagram tools.

Responsibilities

About the role

We're looking for a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and help deliver key business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Create and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRD), User Stories, Functional Requirements, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify inefficiencies and pain points.
• Propose process improvements and design future-state business processes.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
• Align stakeholders on scope and priorities.
• Support Product Owners and Development Teams in requirement walkthrough sessions.
• Participate in backlog grooming sessions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions against requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, Business Info Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience gathering and managing business requirements, including creating PRDs/BRDs, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience facilitating requirement-gathering sessions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Product, Engineering, QA, and Business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
• Strong English proficiency (mandatory) — must demonstrate strong written and verbal English communication skills. Proficiency in Bahasa is required.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with Process Flow Diagram Tools.

Preferred experience (not mandatory)

• Experience in Fintech, Payment Systems, SaaS Platforms, E-Commerce, or Digital Products.
• Experience handling external clients or enterprise stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Miro or Figma.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Postman.
