Job summary

Snappymob is seeking an IT Business Analyst in Malaysia to bridge business goals with technical delivery. You will gather requirements, analyze problems, and support the design of fintech and digital products with cross-functional teams.

You’ll work on user stories, wireframes, and process flows, collaborating with designers, developers, and product owners. A strong emphasis on Agile, SDLC, and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software or digital product environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC lifecycles.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or equivalents.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Experience in business process analysis and improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to proposals, presentations, and client discussions.
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.

About The Role

As a IT Business Analyst at Snappymob, you'll be the vital link between our business goals and the technical execution of software solutions. You'll collaborate closely with clients, designers, developers, and product owners to gather requirements, analyze problems, and support the delivery of impactful digital products. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to project proposals, solution presentations, and client discussions, clearly communicating proposed solutions and project approaches.

• Work with internal teams and clients to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.

• Translate requirements into clear user stories, wireframes, and process flows.

• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure solutions are aligned with user needs and business goals.

• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

• Review APIs, data structures, and system behavior to support smooth handovers and project flow.

• Conduct gap analysis and assist with UAT planning, test case validation, and user feedback.

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What Would You Need?

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within software or digital product environments.

• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart, or equivalents.

• Strong understanding of business process analysis and improvement methodologies.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

• Excellent problem-solving with detail-oriented approach.

• Business process mapping and improvement expertise.

• Ability to identify and address business/operational needs.

• Previous experience in the financial services and fintech will be highly preferred.
